Under the direction of Mrs. Claire Regent, TCRG, our dancers will deliver a thunderous, high energy evening with thrilling show sets similar to those performed in "Riverdance". Thirty dancers in full Irish dance costume are involved, many of whom have competed at the North American and World Championships of Irish Dance. If you missed Riverdance, plan to attend our show. The next Gala Performance will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the University of Calgary Theatre, University of Calgary . Two of our dancers qualified to attend the World Championship in Glasgow, Scotland (2010). Three of our dancers qualified to attend the North American Irish Dance Championships in Orlando in July 2010. A team of 8 dancers is competing at the North American Irish Dance Championship; in "Figures" the group dances seen in Irish Dance and throughout the Gala Performance. Sponsored and presented by the Regent Academy of Irish Dance Parents' Association, the annual Gala is the premiere show and performance for the school. Missed the 2010 Gala?
